Hello everyone, this is programmer Wan Feng, actively working on AI Programming Practice.
Last week I wrote my 2025 summary: In 2025, I Lived the Life I Envied
Today on the first day of work, I suddenly remembered something missing from the 2025 summary: Bilibili reached 160k followers!

"Python Office Automation Community" account, from my clumsy first video release in 2019 to today, has gone through整整 6 years. 6 years, enough for a college student to graduate and enter society, also enough for me to grow from an ordinary programmer to a UP host accompanying over 100k friends in learning and "slacking off" together.
Looking at this number, many memories flood in. I self-transitioned from a law major to become a programmer, have "carried bricks" at both state-owned enterprises and internet companies, and finally decided to root in Chongqing, doing what I love most - Python knowledge sharing. I developed Python libraries like python-office and popdf that maybe some of you have used, but what gives me the most sense of achievement is seeing comments saying "Following Teacher Wan Feng, I really improved my efficiency."
Every one of your "Learned it" and "Thanks UP host" is the biggest motivation for me to persist in updating for 6 years.
Part One: Six-Year Journey, from "Why" to "Why Not"
Friends often ask me: "Wan Feng, how can you persist for so long?"
Actually, at the very beginning, the idea was simple. I myself transitioned careers, knowing how many pitfalls self-learning has. I just thought, can I turn the problems I solved and the "office automation" techniques I摸索出 into easy-to-understand tutorials, so others can take fewer detours?
And so this account was born. From initially sporadic views, to the first video breaking 10k views, to the first live stream... I clearly remember the indescribable excitement when followers broke 1k, 5k, 10k. This isn't my personal achievement alone, it's ours - a community created by all workplace people and students eager to improve efficiency through technology.
The tech world evolves rapidly, especially in the last year or two. I deeply feel that pure "office automation" can no longer meet our future needs. AI, especially actionable and practical AI application development, is becoming a required course for every programmer and even every workplace professional.
I myself have also spent大量时间 learning and practicing.
